Stainless steel is the steel alloy which contains 10.5 to 11% chromium by mass. Unlike ordinary steel it does not corrode, rust or stain with water easily. The stainless steel has a variety of uses. The alloy is used in sheets, bars, plates, wires, coils, surgical equipments, industries especially in the sugar refineries, aerospace and automotive structural alloy and also to transport various food items and beverages like orange juice. It is also used to make jewelleries, watches, thermal power insulation projects, electrical industries and weapons since it is resistant to corrosion and has anti-bacterial properties.
Stainless steel banding is famous nowadays and many industries all over the world are involved in stainless steel banding. The process of stainless steel banding includes ribbon wound banding, oscillating wound banding with giant coils and steel band in carton box, steel band in plastic dispenser (tote) with small coils.
Aluminium foil tapes have versatile uses. The basic features of the aluminium foil tapes are:

The aluminium foil tapes are used in sealing and protecting critical assemblies, sealing plates in flexo- graphic printing process, sheet metal ducts, vapour sealing for fibre glass duct board. They provide an excellent barrier to vapour and heat and they also match irregular and curved surfaces. It is useful for sealing out dust and dirt for underground cables and for food packaging.
